Zach Pousman has built a career pursuing tomorrow’s best ideas. Zach is the Principal at Helpfully, a consultancy that supercharges companies to prototype and launch artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality, wearable, web and mobile tools. Recently, Zach has consulted with a major pharmaceutical company on an AI-based application to support doctors and a for Kroger on a series of prototypes of smart (contextual and sensor-driven) digital store innovations. In addition, Zach has consulted on projects at Verizon Vehicle, Bank of America, Microsoft, Allstate, XPrize, and Google. Zach holds a Philosophy degree from the University of Chicago where he investigated theoretical issues in Artificial Intelligence. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Georgia Tech, blending technology capabilities and human insights. Zach lives in Atlanta with his wife and daughter.
