J is a brand strategist, experience designer, and business consultant. He’s been building digital products for the web since 1996, and has been credited with creating multiple things web designers and developers take for granted today. He’s the Founder and CEO of Nine Labs, a digital experience design and strategy consultancy based in Atlanta, GA. He speaks at conferences around the world, sits on the advisory board for The Iron Yard, and has served as a startup mentor at Georgia Tech’s Advanced Technology Development Center.

Previously, he was the VP of Operations at CoffeeCup Software where he helped grow the company from a fledgling startup to a multi-national with over 50,000,000 users worldwide, and was the President of Bluedomino web hosting which grew from zero to over 25,000 accounts before being acquired in 2002. He started his first business in high school and never looked back.
